Homer (D851), Age 6 years and 0 months
Happy Homer is waiting for you. This boy is approx. 5-6 years of age and is so full of happiness that he bounces around like Tigger. Joy! Joy! Joy! Not to worry--he doesn't bounce all the time, just when he first meets you. He thinks people who pet him are better than Milk Bone treats. He loves life and everyone in it. His previous family could no longer care for him, but admit they were losing a wonderful friend. Homer just had a dental so his breath is minty fresh. He's ready to shower you with love and minty kisses. If this boy tugs at your heartstrings, please put in the application to meet Homer. His adoption fee will be $150.

Chips (D827), Age 0 years and 6 months
Chips is a 6 month old Basset/Beagle mix, who is full of puppy playfulness. Chips needs a home that has dog experience because he does have a strong personality. He's going to need exercise, training, guidance, and an abundance of love. That's what every pup needs! Chips gets along with other dogs, loves to play. He'd do best in an adult home, or one with children over the age of 12 years. He's as cute as can be and is ready to learn to be a good canine citizen. His adoption fee will be $250. If interested in little Chips, please put in the online application.

Henry (D849), Age 5 years and 1 months
Henry is not a Basset--obviously. But he came to us under very special circumstances and needed our help. Henry is a very handsome, gentle, and smart dog. Has a forgiving soul. He's had to. We'll have more details on Henry soon. But we wanted you to feast your eyes--and maybe spread the word about this wonderful guy. Please put in the adoption fee if intersted in Henry.

Upcoming Garage Sale Fundraiser
March 10, 2012
Our next Garage Sale Fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 10th. That means….we need *STUFF TO SELL! *
Here’s your chance to clear out your closets, garages, rented storage spaces, etc. and donate your unwanted treasures to help the Basset Hounds. Please alert your friends, co-workers, neighbors, & family to join in. We also accept donations of vehicles, motorcycles, and boats.
Remember, all donations are tax deductible.
Please contact Mary Calabray at 702-860-0326 or email her at mayrc@cox.net for info about making your donations or to volunteer for the sale day.
Thank you in advance. These fundraisers help us to pay our ever growing vet bills as we help the hounds in need.
