Helping the Bassets

LVBR is a 501c-3 non-profit charitable organization, making all donations tax-deductible.  All donations to Las Vegas Basset Rescue are greatly appreciated. We have no paid employees. LVBR volunteers also pay for a great deal of the expenses involved in transporting and caring for the rescues (i.e. gas for vehicles, food for the dogs, etc.). In that way, your donations can help with much needed veterinary care these homeless hounds require.  You may also help in other ways--by donating goods or volunteering your time. Here are just a few suggestions:

  • Collar and leashes (new or used)

  • Crates, kennels, or x-pens (new or used)

  • Dog toys and beds

  • Towels, blankets, quilts (used items are the softest and best!)

  • Gift cards in any amount--so that we may purchase supplies/dog food (i.e., Petsmart, Petco, Wal-Mart, Target, K-mart)

  • Volunteering to transport, foster, or help out at adoption events

  • Donate your special talents or job skills. Tell us what you can do and we'll find a way to put it to good use in helping the Bassets!

Donate your Used Vehicle and Help the Hounds

 
You can Help the Hounds by donating your used car or truck for us to sell. We do all the paperwork and you get a great tax deduction. The money will go towards paying our ever present vet bills. We only ask that the vehicle be in a safe running condition--as we must sell them in "as-is" condition. We will be selling them ourselves, not turning them over to a broker.
