Stashu (Y902), Age 8 years and 0 months
Stashu came to LVBR after his dad became ill and was taken into hospice. Stashu had been his faithful companion since puppyhood. As you can imagine, he's now a sad Basset who needs a family to comfort and love him. Stashu is 65 lbs. of sweetness, a gentle soul. He weighs about 65 lbs., has wonderful house manners, and is a calm 8 years old. He enjoyed snuggling with his dad on the couch and would certainly love to do the same with you. If you can help mend Stashu's broken--but still loving--heart, please put in the online application. He'll be waiting to meet you. His adoption fee will be $150.

Daisy Lee (Y903), Age 1 years and 1 months
Our newest female rescue is the sweet-natured, Daisy. This cutie, who came to us after being turned in at the local shelter when her family moved, is only 1 year old and still has some growing and maturing to do. She is a very happy, playful girl and with a little patience and understanding she will make a great addition to any basset-lovers home. Prior adopters or current basset owners are preferred for one this young. If you you would like to apply to foster or adopt Daisy Lee, please submit an online application. Her adoption fee will be $250.

Georgia (Y885), Age 6 years and 4 months
Georgia is a 6 year old recent mother, whose babies have now been weaned and adopted. She has been spayed and brought current on her shots, and she is now ready for own forever home. Look at her gorgeous face and one blue eye! Georgia is one of the sweetest, most well-behaved bassets we've ever seen. She's also very playful and gets along with everyone she meets. She was separated from her mate, Higgins--also available for adoption--while she raised her puppies. They would love a home where they can enjoy their empty nest together, but if you already have a buddy for Georgia to play with, she'd also be okay with that. If you'd like to give Georgia--or Georgia and Higgins as a pair--a forever home, please send us your online application. Georgia's single adoption fee will be $150; the joint adoption fee for Georgia and Higgins will be $250.
